Affordable Asphalt Paving

we hired Billy Lee to complete a recycled asphalt job at our house, prior to starting the job there were a few delays. When they finally did start he sent two guys over to complete the job, I realized that they failed to put down the rock salt which helps to prevent weeds and vegitation from growing though… when I called him about it he assured me that they would come add the rock salt, but it weeds and vegetation would not be a problem fast forward a couple of months and there are so many weeds and grass growing thorough the driveway. I contacted him a few different times and was either ignored or was told he would drop off some rock salt, however he never did. I contacted him again prior to writing this and told him that, due to the failure to add the rock salt, the asphualt being too thin and failure to properly install a proper base layer that there is grass growing through the driveway and pad and asked him to make it right. He again just replied with he’d drop off some rock salt… which he didn’t. Mr Lee expected to be able to use the existing gravel on part of our driveway as the base layer, however when there wasn’t enough he dropped a minimal amount of asphalt to make it look complete. Some rock salt is not going to fix the issues on this driveway… the asphalt is too thin and no base was installed!!! He guaranteed his work and told us if there wasn’t ever any issues he would make it right, no questions. He talked a good game to get the job and did the bare minimum then just ghosted us when things started going wrong…. save yourself the trouble and go with a different contractor!!!!
