SAFETY is at the core of all that we do. We have a culture at Al’s Contracting that protects our people, our property, those that we work with, the public and the environment. We recognize the “Guiding Principles for Worker Safety” in our business sector and most importantly, we strictly adhere to them. Safety is more than slogans, performance statistics and certifications. It is what we do. We have a behavior-based safety program to ensure that safety is the first thought of every employee. We hold all employees at every level of the company to our safety standards, policies, procedures and initiatives and for compliance to all applicable legislation.

Al’s Contracting expects a commitment to safety excellence by every employee, every day. Company management demands participation in the Safety Program by all employees and provides proper equipment, training and procedures. Our goal is an injury and incident free workplace which we believe is achievable through continuous safety monitoring and improvement.

We achieve and maintain industry leading safety performance scores. We are a registered member with several safety programs, including: ISNetworld and SECOR. We are, in fact, one of the first companies in Alberta to be a part of ISN.

We recognize and value the importance of offering a workplace and company environment that is safe and protects not just our workers, but the environment and the communities which we work in.
