SIGN AND LIGHTING SERVICES CEI Electrical & Mechanical provides high quality sign and lighting services for businesses throughout the Kansas City region. Our radio-dispatched trucks include 8 arial vehicles that can reach working heights to 150 feet. For building signs and heights over 150 up, we have sophisticated suspension equipment that can allow for service of signs and lighting at virtually any level. Parking lot lighting = no problem! Stadium lighting = no problem! Building lighting = no problem! We have the equipment and the personnel because we are the Can Do company!Our in-house sign shop can design, build, and service all types of signs from neon, to metal, to back-lighted in traditional or custom configurations. When a 2500 amp main switch failed at a local shopping center and left 25 tenants in the dark, CEI was there to fix the problem. Where two other contractors were unable to meet the demands of the job, CEI was able to obtain temporary power equipment and get the tenants back on line fast, saving them thousands of dollars in lost sales and the mall owners untold grief. Then, CEI was able to analyze the removed equipment, obtain replacements for the 20-year old equipment and complete the installation during non-business hours. Without CEI, the owners and tenants faced a two-week downtime! CEI is a Can Do company and we proved it again! The recent move of pharmaceutical company presented a number of challenges. They were moving into an old warehouse and foundry facility that needed new heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning equipment, ductwork, and all the pieces. What’s more, all the equipment had to be lifted onto the large flat roof. Because CEI has the manpower, skills, and equipment not only to install and service the equipment but also our own crane and lifting equipment, we were able to handle the lifting of the HVAC equipment to the roof as well as the installation of the systems.
