In 1964, the company began its Shotcrete and Gunite operations as Certified Gunite Company. The company constructed swimming pools for major developers and contractors. It also provided the service of installing gunite and shotcrete concrete into pools that were being constructed by other swimming pool companies. In 1979, the company expanded its operations to include building pools and spas for the general public as Custom Pools.
