Draesel Construction

My name is Ed LaPierre of Draesel Construction and I have been framing houses for a little over 15 years.

I started with custom homes in Canmore, AB back in 1996 with several builders in the area. Between 2000-2004 I started and finished my carpentry apprenticeship with Quiniscoe Homes in Invermere, BC. I began as a carpenter’s helper and by the end I was a lead hand/foreman of the jobsites. We were the cribbers, the framers, the finishers, siders and even the insulators.

In 2004, I returned to Canmore and started framing exclusively. I was the lead hand on Phase one of “The Portal”, a fourplex and a twelveplex, developed by Riverdale Homes in the Three Sister’s Resort. I started framing homes in Northwest Calgary upon moving to the area in 2005.

In 2006, I started Draesel Construction to begin my legacy specializing in Residential Framing. I have worked with several builders in and around the Calgary area where I have received the reputation for ‘tight’ and ‘clean’ framing. I have recently been doing some inner-city infills and we are still trying to keep the bar set high.

I love doing what I do with a passion and feel satisfied at the end of each day.
