In over 35+ years in this industry, it never ceases to amaze me how many contractors promise unrealistic build times and even more unrealistic prices. Maybe it’s because they know how easy it is to cut corners, sacrifice quality, and hide shoddy work.After all, over 80% of a remodel happens “behind the wall” where a homeowner will never see it.Just look at your roof as an example. Almost everything about the installation happens underneath the beautiful shingles you see. So what’s to keep a contractor from using four nails instead of the manufacturer’s required six? After all, using four nails looks exactly the same as using six from the outside.The contractor pads his profits by saving money on material and labor costs, and you get the roof at the price you want. Everybody’s happy…right? Not exactly.You see, while this may be the “fast and easy” way of installing a roof, it is not the right way. Using four nails instead of six voids your warranty and creates a roof that can and will fail prematurely.And you know what? There are over a dozen other “little” things like skimping on nails that can and will add up to a disaster. This “fast and easy” way of doing things drives me crazy and I categorically refuse to do business this way.We will always choose quality over expediency. Maybe that’s why we have been around for over 35+ years and why we have so many repeat customers. Some of our clients are on their fourth, fifth, and even sixth project with us.Bottom Line: You can trust us to make sure every aspect of your home improvement is done perfectly, whether you can see it or not.
