Lucid Landscapes Ltd., founded by Matthew Finlayson, was established in 2008. Matthew started landscaping at the age of 15 as a summer job during high school. He instantly fell in love with the self-satisfaction he received from creating a tranquil outdoor living space.



After graduating high school, Matthew attended the Landscape Design program at Fanshawe College. After the first year, he decided to fast-track by attending the Horticulture Tech. program and Landscape Design program simultaneously.



After graduating both programs, Matthew went on to work as a Foreman for a local landscaping company. Within a year, he moved up to Construction Supervisor, working with each customer through every step, from design to completion of the final product. A year after that, Lucid Landscapes Ltd. was born.



Matthew still works on site to ensure complete customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. His employees are well experienced and as hard working individuals as he is. Lucid Landscapes would not have the reputation that it does without the hard working team that it surrounds itself with.
