Joshua grew up in Nanaimo, BC and started out in the construction industry 'swinging a shovel' at a very young age. Growing up in a family of 3 generations of general contractors, he gained knowledge of many different aspects of the construction industry, learning what was necessary to get the job done right the first time.

As Josh's experience grew, he noticed that, oftentimes, the importance of planning and carrying out the earthworks stage of many projects was underestimated. This often lead to challenges with the next stages of the project, and maintenance issues in the future were more common.

Identifying a need in the industry, Josh committed himself to the best possible construction practices, ensuring not only the proper care of our environment, but that foresight was applied to every step. From clearing the land to aesthetic design - nothing is overlooked.

Without a strong foundation, the integrity of anything built on top is compromised. With this ideal in mind and with a combination of his core family values of honesty, integrity and dedication, Josh Incorporated Milestone Equipment Contracting in 2005.
