Based in Inuvik, N.W.T., Millennium Construction Ltd. was created by, David Kassem and Michael Kilpatrick. Their combined expertise, skill and extensive prior history in the field of construction in the Western Arctic presented a natural transition in the formation of the company in 1999.

The Canadian North possesses its own unique challenges and constraints within the construction industry. Climate is a key component in assessing when required materials and supplies can be delivered; permafrost dictates when construction begins, and the short construction season provides a small window of opportunity to complete each project. Adept at working within these boundaries, Millennium Construction continues to develop innovative designs, better meeting the demands of the region.

An initial concentration on residential new-builds, Millennium Construction Ltd. gradually expanded its operation to meet the industrial, commercial and institutional construction requirements locally and throughout the North West Territories.

A full-service company - from project inception to on-time and within budget completion – Millennium employs skilled, local trades’ people, is CWB Certified, and maintains an extensive inventory of tools, vehicles and heavy equipment. Required materials are shipped to various project sites throughout the North West Territories utilizing its own fleet of transport trucks.
Safe work practices being of high priority, Millennium is in the process of obtaining COR Certification, where current Health and Safety programs meet strident national standards.
