Our company was founded in 1977 near the Northern Ontario town of Chapleau. The owner built a log home of his own, which attracted so much attention from others that he decided to go into business selling log home kits to customers. He installed the machinery to manufacture a precut round log wall system. Log homes are beautiful, energy efficient, durable and are now more affordable with North Country Log Home products.
North Country Log Homes' kits and log siding products are manufactured by Devon Mills Ltd.â⢠on specialized equipment, known as the Chisum Log Millââ¢. The company has produced quality log homes for discriminating customers for more than 29 years.
