Swisscan is owned and operated by Thomas Koppel of Salmon Arm, B.C. Thomas grew up in the village of Widnau, Switzerland. Having fallen in love with Canada, Thomas immigrated in 2001 and now resides in Salmon Arm with the love of his life and his two beautiful children.

With his father as a Master Roofer, Thomas began to work with his hands at an early age. Going into the cabinet making apprenticeship at the age of 16, he has been able to express his artistic side and help client's dreams come true for over 25 years.

Thomas is known for his excellent customer service, quality products, attention to detail, and fine European craftsmanship.

Always welcoming a challenge, and drawing on his wide group of industry colleagues, no job is too small or too big at Swisscan. Specializing in custom kitchens, vanities, millworks, furniture, custom coaches and design, anything is truly possible.

Thomas enjoys and utilizes all types of wood, using environmentally friendly, water-based lacquers.
