TTP Time To Pave  

DID A VERY BAD JOB

After giving a 10% deposit, my mom waited a month for the job done. When they finaly came, they didnt do it like the specifications they said they would. Instead of adding gravel as first layer as required, they put a patch of left over asphalt from another job on 1/3 of the driveway. They said it was better but i think the gravel help stabilise and drain more water and ici under the pave. They didnt use a saw to cut the existing pave under the stairs and porch and using the Bobcat loader broke the pave and the brick support. After reminding to lay pave extra foot against the front lawn where the brick wall was going, they forgot and laid pave on the dirt left that wasnt scraped of compress prior and it left à 6 inchs lump for 10 feet long that i had to cut after with a chizel and sledge hammer to flattent it. The middle of the pave looks like a turtle hump from not scrapping it flat and adding gravel as suposed to. The other side of pave corner have the same lump shape wich make water to stay in middle of the driveway. It leaves a 10 feet water puddle. I can only imagine in winter and ice when my mom gets out of the car and its a ice rink. Finally, my mom was stress from grefing my father passing and she paid full amount for the job. She asked for a receipt but the guy left saying he would come the next day. Just after she realized she had already paid for the deposit and the employee took the full amount and left. I tried to call his number and its always on messages box. I left 3 messages, no answers. I then called the main office and explained the situation and the woman replied they needed my e-transfert adress. 1 week and 3 messages later. Nothing. I tried to call the office. Message box. I left a last message. If no reply by Friday, im going to cops and civil court. 2 year warranty. Come a 670 route 365 see yourself the mess. They spilled the frozen left over under the stairs and porch then said they couldnt go ther with the pave hammer to flatten it. I hope you consider twice before going with cheap labor job investment. The job that was done on my property is a complete disaster puddle everywhere, did not put any aggregate under the pave for drainage poorly compacted and I have 7000 square feet of that I Calle and never even Botter coming having a look BE CAREFULL DO NOT RUINE YOUR DRIVEWAY!
