Tri-State Drilling Services, LLC (TSD) was established as a small business in Chattanooga, TN. TSD, LLC was also known as Tri-State Testing and Drilling, LLC when formed in 1985 until a name change in 2007 to its present name. The company is managed and operated as a professional drilling contractor and considered a leader in providing services in geotechnical, environmental, mineral exploration and water resources throughout the south and southeastern United States.The company operates more than 19 various types of drill units with fully trained drill teams and have local base resources in Chattanooga, Nashville, Knoxville, Tennessee and additional resources in the Huntsville/Decatur AL area. These services include utilizing methods such as hollow stem auger, air and mud rotary, diamond rock coring, casing advancement and direct push methods.
